A Day Off...

Thursday night Tre helped me make a double batch of sugar cookie dough.  He enjoyed pouring in ingredients, holding the mixer,

and finally taste testing the results.

Then I stayed up after he went to bed to roll, cut and bake the cookies for our visitors.
Elisabeth and Jocylen came to decorate cookies with us.  They each only decorated about 5 of the 8 dozed cookies I had prepared.  But it was a fun experience and both of them enjoyed licking their frosting fingers more than anything.

After waking up from his nap, Tre wanted to clean the floors in preparation for our next visitors since it didn't get done before Jocylen came.  He really loves to sweep and swiffer and even throws tantrums if I take it away.

In the afternoon Olivia and Lilyana came to play.  Unfortunately Tre only had one, one hour nap and that wasn't enough of a recharge.  Their personalities are so different and when he's tired it doesn't take much to set him off.  So as usual he clung to me and was in arms a lot but did venture out and play a little bit.

Overall it was a very fun day off from work spent with my baby and friends.
