The Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to the PumpkinStation right down the street from our house.  They used to grow pine trees but I think this is the first or maybe second year that they are no longer growing trees.  It would be nice if they still did.  Anyhow my sister went out of town for 4 days and left her kids with my parents so we all went down there together. Right when we arrived the tractor was leaving so we hopped on the cart, sat on some hay bales and went for a ride.

Then walked through the corn maze.  I wanted to take pictures of Tre but he didn't want to walk he just wanted to play in the dirt, one of his favorite things in the world to do.

Then we walked through where the pumpkins are growing.  He wasn't interested in the plants or the pumpkins just the hay.  He kept picking up handfuls and handfuls of hay.
And finally we went over to the "live animals" which is really really sad.  They put 4 goats in a cage and call it an attraction.  It would be nice if they were living there full time and had a much larger area to roam.  Tre enjoyed grabbing the goat's head since it was stuck and sticking out of the cage but I didn't get good pictures because of how it was set up.

So after all the attractions we went to choose our pumpkins.  We each got a pumpkin and of course we picked them out and Tre doesn't like his, a little white one.  He wanted Liesl's which she named her "little cutie" a little orange pumpkin.
