Valentine's Day 3 - Tuesday

Unfortunately we didn't celebrate Valentine's day this year.  We never celebrate is much but since we had so much fun at my Christmas playdate, I had hoped that Joaquin would be born early enough that I could pull together a Valentine's playdate.
I did make Jorge a gift.  I am not very crafty at all but I bought my first ever glue gun and put together this love message board I found on pinterest.

The midwives came in the morning for our 2 day home visit.  Joaquin weighed 10lbs 3oz so had only lost 3oz. 

Very shortly after Joaquin's birth Tia Luz had to go to work.  She didn't get to hold him at all so she came over for a nice visit.

Then my mom made eggplant parmesan which is what I made Jorge on our first Valentine's together and a delicious key lime pie.
