Lake Tahoe

I LOVE going on vacation!  Of course the day before a week vacation is always stressful with packing for me and Jorgito and food for the family but it's all so worth it.
This Thanksgiving break we went to Lake Tahoe.  I had not been since I was 12 years old I think and Jorge and Jorgito had never been.  It kind of sucked being pregnant since we couldn't snowboard or ice skate but we did have a nice relaxing week sitting in our room, drinking hot chocolate and cider and watching tv by the fire all day!
Saturday we drove up there.  It took 10 hours with 4 stops.

We walked to the resorts private beach and Tre discovered snow for his first time.

Sunday we just hung out and enjoyed the 5 hours of nonstop snow.  Tre did not like being outside at all and stood by the balcony door to get into the warmth.

Monday we went on the Tahoe Queen scenic ride to Emerald Bay.  It was pretty boring and right during Tre's nap time but at least we can say he went on his first boat ride.

Tuesday we drove all the way around the lake in the morning and stopped in Squaw Valley where Tre had his first Starbucks then went bowling.

Thursday we went to have Thanksgiving at the Harrah's buffet.  Tre was a very picky eater all week and didn't want to eat healthy at all.  So after two servings of macaroni and cheese, he had a few desserts. 

Then there were chocolate strawberries too which he ate all the chocolate off of and left the strawberry.

 If you look right between us you'll notice the markings of a poor bird that tried to get into the buffet earlier.

Friday we drove home.  It took 9 hours with only 2 quick stops.
