I started this undied organic cotton blanket back in August when I found out I was having a baby Joaquin.
And it was my most difficult project ever. The tedious seed stitch. My first time doing cables. And working with sport weight yarn on small size 5 needles.
I'm so glad it's done although of course now that it's washed as with all blankets I ever make I feel like I should have gone through the cable pattern one more time to make it 3 inches longer. It's super small but can lay nicely on top of Joaquin instead of wrapping around him! And right in the middle there's a little hole where I messed up... oops.
Now I have no project in the works. Maybe I'll start a Christmas stocking for Joaquin.
