Jorge and I since our wedding have been wanting a California King Size bed. And just a new bed in general that is ours. For the first year we were sleeping on my 8 year old queen size bed. Well with the baby coming, we decided we had to get the bed now. Fortunately Jorge used to work in furniture and many of his friends still do. One of them offered to give us their yearly discount and we ended up getting our $1,800 bed for $900. We are so happy with it. The first night, I slept through the night without getting up once which hadn't happened since before the pregnancy began.
So we put the old bed in the baby's room as a guest bed and as his bed for when he outgrows the crib.
Jorge also installed the shelves and light in the room which is very nice to have done.
As well he tore out the shower door which didn't open or close properly and put in a shower curtain which I think will be better for bathing the baby.
And finally, about two months ago we had our back splash and baseboards installed. So here is our finished kitchen.
