Abigail's mom Elaine was the first to arrive to the shower yesterday. She came bearing these wonderful nectarines. They were grown by her completely organically just a couple miles away from my house and picked fresh in the morning. I am SO excited about them. They're not particularly sweet but are super juicy and make my whole kitchen smell heavenly. I had been waiting and hoping for organic peaches and have been checking Trader Joe's every week with no good news. So when these arrived I was just so happy and grateful.
