Christmas Festivities

Saturday evening we went to my parents house.  I brought tamales which I spend 6 hours making on Wednesday, frijoles puercos and champurrado.  My dad made his annual oyster stew which I did not eat and Natalie made bread pudding.  We had a nice time hanging out but unfortunately I didn't take pictures.

Sunday morning we spent some time at home.  It was a very small Christmas for us but nice and peaceful.

Then we went to my parents again for breakfast, presents and dinner.

I made all 10 of my nieces and nephews hats.  The 7 year old boys weren't very into them and preferred to use them as weapons it seems.

 The girls on the other hand were okay with theirs.

Jorgito loves his cousin Johnny.  Unfortunately my sister's whole family was sick w/ some stomach virus so we didn't get to spend much time with them.  Hopefully we can get together soon all in good health so that Jorgito can play with his cousins.
