We had been struggling with sleeping arrangements for Jorgito for quite a while. The toddler had been sleeping in a playpen since August. Poor kid was just too big for it and ready for a big bed. We had decided on a bunk so that when Joaquin is older he and Jorgito could sleep together and we'd have a bed above them for the two nights a week that the nanny stays with us.
So I was quite surprised when Jorge confessed to me that he's been working extra hard and secretly saving money for Christmas. He had accumulated enough to buy Jorgito's new bed!
We are both so grateful that our son has a comfortable place to sleep now. And I am so thankful for my husband working so hard.
