Thankful Thursday

Today because it's Earth Day... I'm thankful for this great Mother Earth which I call home.

She means so much to me.  The earth provides all of us with everything we need to live.  And before we started messing with things, everything was in a perfect balance.  Now that population growth is out of control we are stressing her so much.
So it is in our hands to do what we can to help our earth sustain our population for the longest possible.  I know that I do not do enough.  I know that I could do so much more but social pressures don't allow us.  I do what I can now and need to work on doing better.  Little by little my life will have less of an impact on the resources she provides.

  1. Hi Jess, this post disturbed me because of your outdated facts. This earth was created by almighty God and we must be good stewards of His beautiful creation by treating the earth kindly. There is nothing we could do to destroy it though because it is not ours to destroy. It is very prideful to think that we are in control of it. Haven't you ever seen a dirty, concrete city street with pretty green grass growing out of a crack? How does this happen? Nature is always finding a way to survive and we cannot stop it even if we tried.
Our population growth is out of control? Where do you get this information? Here is a wonderful article I found, I hope you read it.
