Wishlist Wednesday

My husband, my son although he doesn't know it yet, and I all wish to be on the show "The Outdoor Room"

We ran out of money when remodeling our home and have a backyard of dirt. Here is the yard last year when we first bought the home. We had the 35 foot palm trees removed and Jorge took out the rest of the plants. We kept the grass alive for a little while but since let it die. So you can see the size here.

Here you can see out the window what it looks like now... all dirt with holes from the dogs and a a concrete slab with chipping green paint.

Since the house was in such horrible shape, we wanted to start from a clean slate in all areas of the home. So we redid the inside but the backyard is still a blank canvas which must be fixed before Tre starts walking. We really want him to be able to enjoy our little outside area at home in addition to Grammy's house. We want a new concrete patio poured which my brother will do. We want sod, I want a wooden swing set/slide like this one.

And 3 garden boxes for the side yard. A 3 foot fence separating the garden area from the yard to keep the dogs from terrorizing my little food garden is a must as well. We will get all of this done in the most basic of ways but it would be a dream come true for a tv show to come in and do it all to the extreme for us with nice built in planters/seating areas and a little outdoor kitchen for Jorge, etc.
